I am looking at several Masters Programs and I think I am going to go to Touro University International but I want to be sure it is the best choice.

Has anyone taken classes at Bellevue University? Does anyone have any experience with Bellevue University?

    Thanks.

I teach in the undergraduate online program at Bellevue University. They use Blackboard as their teaching platform. The Center for Distance Learning provides good support to students and faculty. They are a North Central accrediated university. I have enjoyed working for them.

I am rarely in agreement with LarryF, but we are on this one (but for the use of the word 'accrediated').

I've been a big fan of theirs for about six years, now, since they introduced what I believe was the first-ever 100% on-line MBA program, and a darned good one. I was really impressed with my visit to the campus and my 3 or 4 meetings with provost Mary Hawkins. And, although I do get lots of complaint letters about schools, I've never had one about them.

The only "problem" (or issue), which they are very much aware of, is the name. For many people, especially in the eastern US, "Bellevue" is known only as the large hospital for the criminally insane. To say, "I got my degree at Bellevue" is akin to saying "I got my degree at Alcatraz."

But what is the solution? They are located in Bellevue, Nebraska, for goodness sake, which had the name first. All I could think of, thinking about their MBA, was to consider the Wharton or the Edinburgh Business School approach. People talk warmly about their Wharton or Edinburgh degrees without mention of the issuing schools, Penn and Heriot-Watt.

    Bellevue
    Touro
    Amberton
    Baker

All are on my short list for my MBA (Not in any particular order) Every time I think I have made a decision, I hear something new about one of the schools.

I did some overtime in the call center of the credit card company I work for. I spoke with a student who goes to Bellevue, he is enrolled in the MBA program. He had nothing but good things to say about the school and the program.

It depends on what your criteria is.

    Cost
    method of delivery.

I am also leaning towards Touro because of what had been said on the board and the fact that there is no book cost.

I will be making my decision sometime in April.
    Good luck
