I have the same thought, but I believe the technology platform, such as interactive simulation and video vs. reading textbooks and articles.
Wow! I'm excited about their undergraduate degree offerings! Are we finally going to see an affordable online degree from at least known schools?
2U creates canned curriculum and assessments and handles a big chunk of the administrative burden. The advantage for the schools is that they don't need to develop the programs themselves, but it comes at a large cost (40% or 60% of the tuition for each course.)
