I remember the good old days when their web site was informative. Now it's so hard to find out how much that program costs that I'm not going to bother. And it doesn't look like they describe the curriculum at all.

Do you list you graduated from Birkbeck College or the University of London?

Depends on which actually issues the degree, I guess. I’ve seen some ads for UoL degrees that say something like “with academic direction by LSE.” So all this could be very confusing…

I've seen people put they graduated from LSE, when their program was from UOL DL.

    so.. im not sure.

those days are gone. even their divinity BA is over 12k pounds now.

i think their cheapest program is still philosophy, 6k+

but u can be sure everything's going online and they jacking up the price everywhere. they just released a Bsc in Marketing for like 17k pounds

You'll get a University of London degree, not Birkbeck degree.
Only Birkbeck's on-campus program will award the real Birkbeck degree.

Also no info on how to get in, what they expect from successful applicants, or most of the other info you'd expect from someone actually interested.

As Steve mentioned, they’re apparently transitioning to the latest CRM strategy. A bit disheartening to see a school of this reputation using this strategy but considering the likely demographic target these programs are going for, it likely makes financial sense.

I thought I read somewhere on a UK uni forum that this was also a conversion course, but I still can't find any information about this program. I'm not sure how true that is but more to come.

University of London's MSc Computer Science is too overpriced I think.
    You have many better options.

UOL just updated their Msc in CS website. The description of the 10 modules are here.

    https://london.ac.uk/msc-computer-science-structure

All are coursework base + some online test via their VLE. If you're in the US, it'll cost you 12k pounds for the whole program - or about 17k USD. If you're from one of the Band B countries, it'll cost you 9k pounds - or about 12k USD.

It's more expensive than other CS programs in the UK (Keele and York have an MS in CS conversion masters for 7k pounds, and their just as high ranked if that's a concern)

I guess the Pros for going UOL is the branding + their modules are pretty spread, from foundation to cloud to ML. gives you a good mix of everything.
