Looking for a Masters program in Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Public Admin (with concentration relevant to aforementioned), or etc. NOT Columbia Southern. NOT Liberty. Prefer regionaly accredited, rather than just nationally accredited. Also, prefer online. Not willing to relocate at this time. Looking to futher knowledge and advance career in fire/EMS. Hit me with what ya got!
Back in the early 2000's, @Michael Gates (don't know if he's still around, haven't seen a post from him in many years) turned me on to the EMI certifications online. I think I piled up like 20 or so. It really boosted my resume and helped get me a lucrative gig with FEMA. If those are still available, it may be worthwhile to take those while you continue your search.
Not something I know about at all, but I had seen one at Kansas: https://edwardscampus.ku.edu/homeland-security
Eastern Kentucky University has a well respected online master’s program. The Citadel has also launched an online master’s in security, and that will certainly carry some significant name recognition.
Thank you. Yes, that’s exactly what I’m doing now. All the ICS 1,2,3,4,7,800, etc. Whatever I can get my hands on, really.
Do you have any cost requirements? There are dozens of these programs online. https://www.geteducated.com/online-degrees/master/criminal-justice-safety-law/emergency-management/ https://www.geteducated.com/online-degrees/master/criminal-justice-safety-law/homeland-security/ https://www.gradschools.com/masters/emergency-management/online https://www.gradschools.com/masters/homeland-security-national-defense/online
Haha. I was just offered an adjunct position at Columbia Southern after earning my Ph.D. at Liberty. Good luck with your search!
