A lot of the Spanish diplomas I've seen do look kinda gruesome, lol, so I'm not surprised to hear the Unidema one is ugly.

The thing is that the '' triple and titulo '' are too close to one another on the diploma and they seemed to be annoyed by my suggestion because they said : '' thank you for your suggestion, we'll pass it on to our digital team ''.

What I also didn't like was that the three titles were on one diploma.
    Master this
    Master that
    Master this
All that on 1 diploma looks weird imho.
That's why I explained it was propio to my employer.

To be fair, I don't think this is exclusive to Spanish diplomas/degrees/certificates. USF MUMA's certificates, IMO, look like they got a 1st year HS student to design them.

Xamk certificates look really good by the way. We're lucky there ;-)
They stamp them and they sign them with wet-ink.

A friend who did an MA at LSE showed me his diploma from the University of London and it was plain also. I gather that having one's diploma look like the title deed to a medieval castle is something of a North American affectation.

Plain is fine. Going over the top with 12 fonts and 18 colors (as some schools are wont to do) is not fine.

The vast majority of universities in China are still taking the old Soviet fashion with a national emblem and a personal photo on their certificates.

Luckily, some top universities are having initiatives and even could provide an official English copy.

The seal looks medieval but the rest of the diploma not so much. Especially since German-speaking countries did use Fraktur, a type of blackletter typeface, until the mid 20th century.

The University of Vienna is also an exception. These days, most universities in the German-speaking part of Europe use diplomas with a modern design and in DIN A4 format.

This is the Unidema certificate: https://esht.unidema.com/images/2020/08/28/diploplma-ejemplo-masterprocomar.jpg

Which looks a lot like a default MS Office template. Athabasca's diploma looks quite plain too: https://www.buydegreeonline.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/c400a-11.png

    Quantic's MBA design I really like: https://datashines.github.io/data/2020-03-22-My-MBA-journey-at-Quantic/degree.jpeg

I haven't seen a real Eastern parchment to know what they look like, there's a few different designs online (some good, some bad.)

Quantic’s reminds me slightly of my MBA parchment. Obviously some differences but I like them. Lol

I like the Vlerick Business School MBA parchments.
They look so beautiful and colorful.

Finally got around to trying to sign up. I sent in my info, as per on the Groupon, and got back an automated email saying to use a portal. The portal gave me an error. Very frustrating!

They prompted me a few days ago to "finish registration" because I had emailed and hadn't filled in the form. So, I tried filling in the form again, and it actually worked this time! They've sent me the login information and several other welcome emails today. Of course, the login didn't actually work the first time. I had to try the "forgot password" thing, then I attempted to log in again. That worked, and then I was able to set a new password.

Interestingly, you CAN set the navigation to English. I'm not sure why; the course materials are still in Spanish. Maybe it's a default and they never removed it? I think they're using Moodle, but I can't remember if that's what this is. It's a standard platform.

Honestly, British universities' diplomas look so ugly. This is something I might get after I am done with my MBA.:D

What are the ethics of ordering a fake diploma for a degree you actually have, if you hate the way the real diploma looks? :emoji_thinking:

I think it's like ordering a fake passport because you don't like your picture on your real one. I wouldn't.

What would you think if you saw someone’s diploma and knew it was fake? Would your first impression be that they didn’t actually have the degree they claimed to have? Mine would.
