Came across this online school in Czeck Republic. Yes, ASIC accredited, but with a couple other accreditations besides that. What's your expert opinion? https://www.cemimba.com/about-cemi#accreditation
Thanks Viktoria for sharing the information. Honestly, if this CEMI is only providing MBA programs, I still think UoPeoeple's MBA would be a better option for degree seekers with a low cost.
Non expert opinion. Slim or no chances that NARIC UK or NACES member evaluation services in US will evaluate the degree earned at this provider as equivalent to UK or US RA degrees. This limits their utilization when official recognized evaluation is required.
Hello! I guess that sooner or later if you search for a cheap and easy route to an MBA, you stumble upon those private Czech schools like this one (How do I know? Um... yes...er...). I am no expert, but I don't think it would be a good idea to do it. The value of those degrees, if you even call them this way, is limited. And there are cheaper, albeit not easier, routes to a decent MBA out there. I would like to add that an ASIC accreditation is, at least to me, more a warning sign than an indication of quality. There is nothing wrong with ACIS itself, but it is frequently misused by operators of doubtful institutions as a surrogate for proper accreditation - even if ASIC itself states that their accreditation does not imply the right to confer degrees. I hope that helps a bit. Best regards, Mac Juli
I have to fully agree. By the way, If you follow the link then you will see that the accreditation by the Czech Ministry of the Interior (the only one on that list with some real meaning) expired in 2018.
Wow great research skills @mintaru ! I had trouble finding them in any of those listings, was even wondering if all the logos are fake.
Thank you very much for your help. It's clear about ASIC, I was wondering about all the other accreditation claims they have.
