Awesome offering. As a personal finance teacher, I think everyone should take a financial literacy course.

I teach Personal Finance and Advanced Personal Finance at a business school here in Oklahoma. I would highly recommend everyone take a for-credit course or a certificate course. Highly beneficial to EVERYONE regardless of their field of study and/or work.

I would love to see our public schools mandate Personal Finance for High School students.

I agree. I know North Carolina made it a graduation requirement in 2019. Some high schools don't even offer it as an elective. At the college preparatory school I teach, it's an elective for juniors and seniors. I wish they make it mandatory.

Registered. This thing is valuable for content, and the credential is almost irrelevant. Nevertheless, FWIW, McGill is a school that plays musical chairs with Toronto for #1 in Canada. I'm not convinced either of them is quite Ivy League as they pretend to be, but both are the equivalent of VERY strong state flagships. Very decent name.

As someone who fancies himself pretty good with personal finance, I'm really curious what the advanced personal finance covers that the basic course doesn't?

Hmm. Registered about a week ago and am waiting for the February 1 class to drop. Just received an email that said my course had ended. But I could reregister if I didn't want to lose credit for what I'd completed (which of course is nothing). So I go to reregister and they asked my name and email again so they can inform me when the next class becomes available. Huh? Am I missing something here?
