Drexel University has an online degree completion program that allows you to transfer up to 135 credits out of 180 required credits.

They accept credits from many standardized exams such as CLEP, Excelsior College Examinations (ECE), Thomas Edison College Examination Program (TECEP), NYU Foreign Language Testing, and DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST).

You'll get 'Bachelor of Science in General Studies' degree from Drexel University's Goodwin College of Professional Studies.

180 - 135 is 45 credits. And each credit costs $530. You can finish this program for $23,850 plus exam fees. Here's more info about BS in General Studies program tuition:

Just curious, what are good-paying jobs/careers with an undergraduate degree in liberal arts or general studies?

That's a very good question! I think it accomplishes a few things. 1. Tells future employers you were able to finish a college degree (Checks the box). 2. Allows enlisted servicemen or civilians the opportunity to apply to Officer Candidate School. 3. Allows degree holders to apply to graduates schools ie: MBA, JD, etc. 4. Able to apply to a K-12 teacher credential program with "other" bachelors degree. 5. self satisfaction. 6. Others?

PS. Lets not forget some of these BS Liberal Arts/General Studies have "concentrations" listed on transcript that also look good on the resume. Ie: Concentration: Accounting, Business, Sociology, Criminology, English, History, Natural Science, Psychology, Biology, etc.

To echo Copper, my liberal studies degree was the among the best education related decisions I ever made and allowed opportunities within the military and education world that wouldn’t have been there otherwise. Obviously almost any degree would have done the same, and some degrees much more effectively, but it was the right decision for me based on where I was practically and geographically.

Wondering what jobs you can get with a BS in General Studies? Take a look at the roles and organizations connected to our network:

    • Professional Digital Marketing Consultant, Self-employed

    • VP, Manager of Business Analytics and Insights, TD Bank NA
    • Internal Advisor Consultant, Hartford Funds

Without doing the in-depth research to actually prove the point I'm about to make...

...I suspect that every one of those people can point to other credentials and several years of experience as the reason they got their jobs.

So it comes down to this- if you either have other qualifications under your belt, have plans for acquiring other qualifications, or are interested in exploring options before settling into a field and working yourself up to where you want to be, then a bachelor's in general studies is a fine degree to have. If you're looking to get into business analytics or pharmaceutical consultancy soon after graduation, you should probably pick a relevant major and try to snag some internship experience along the way.

Almost 24k for a general studies degree? And given Drexel uses quarters rather than semesters, the transfer policy is fairly standard. Not seeing anything special or cheap here?

This is true. I know a guy who earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Chemical Engineering at Drexel. But now he makes living from digital marketing and SEO services which have nothing to do with chemical engineering. Some people end up with jobs that have nothing to do with their majors anyways....

Well, at least they have this kind of program.
Only few of top 100 schools offer online degree completion programs that accept lots of transfer credits.

i.e. Northeastern University have online degree completion program as well:
    https://www.northeastern.edu/bachelors-completion/
But they require 60 out of 120 credits to be completed through their online courses. Each of their credit costs $541. So the program costs $32,000 (60 x 541) after you transfer 60 credits.

If you're looking for a cheaper solution, check this out:
