The University of Arizona, Eller College of Management, Eller Executive Education just developed their first very short online certificate program and the number one feature to me is they have a “link to request a scholarship.” They even have a box to name what you can pay? This is unheard of in Executive Education.

•As of 2019, Eller Executive Education is #5 in the U.S., and #15 globally, by Financial Times (FT).

Well, i finished the course already a couple of weeks ago. The content was nothing new to me, however, i did come across a number of people from different industries and the experience they shared was indeed valuable.

I just signed up with an option on how much I am willing to pay. I put down $50.00/each and $200.00 for the entire certificate program vs. $500.00. The program coordinator has not responded to my registration yet.

I hope you get your deal. I paid more but I am working and doing very well. The U. Arizona - Eller, FIU, and FAU deals have been amazing. I think there may be more deals in the future?

Did you pay yet? I would! I do not do MOOCs any more. I am tired of 3-party Certificates. I have a bunch, but they mean almost nothing to me.

Courses from a variety of MOOC providers:
    - Coursera (USA): 4 Certificates
    - Edx (MIT/HU): 6 Verified Certificate of Achievements
    - FutureLearn (UK): 2 Certificates
    - Open2Study (Australian): 15 Certificates with Transcript

My tastes have evolved and now just want official university Certificates from the college itself. The COVID-19 era has made it less expensive.

No, I have not paid yet. I am waiting for the invoice. I am still doing the MOOC because I get access for free until the end of this year. I might do the MIT's MicroMaster in Finance if I don't get into Imperial College London's Global MBA.

    Tekman,
I was inspired by your negotiation technique. I offered $25 per course. Deal approved! :)

Did they approve you for $25.00 per course? Wow! Let me go back and renegotiate for $0.95 per course. :D

YES. I was approved. Of course, I started thinking that I should have put $5! LOL. They are basically giving this certificate away. I should have asked for a full scholarship. Any money that they make is a plus at this point.

Well, i would advise you guys to negotiate at 0$. I categorically stated in the Application that i won't be able to pay a penny and the Application got approved. The Certificate might be worth putting on the resume, however, the quality of the content being covered is even lower than the content available at Coursera or edX. In fact, my perception of Executive Education has unfortunately changed after attending this particular course.

This is a poor person's Executive Education with an official university certificate, not a third party. MOOCs (Coursera/edX) is the same with way less personal branding. I have tons of both. You make excellent points, but real Executive Education is $10-15k a week education as that is a rich persons' personal branding that also goes with it.

I wouldn't say that. Besides, $200.00 is cheaper than an IT certification. I start weeding them out because it has no value for my current and future career.
