    How does this fall under business? Seems more appropriate for education or general.

    There are lot of private gallery/shop, I assume this degree fall under business administration with arts area?

    "The arts" encompasses a wide range of activities. It could be the Louvre, the Metropolitan Opera, the Joffrey Ballet, the Boston Pops . . . you know, The ARTS"

    The curriculum doesn't reflect administration. Anyway, it's neither here nor there.

    I don't know how "art administration" is a scholarly subject. But okay, I guess. From their website:

    "....created to prepare students for careers that envision, conduct and disseminate meaningful research in the arts and cultural sector. "

    I would want to know what central or unifying theory of "arts administration" is and what theories contribute to it. I would, but I don't.
