Exam-only degree possible?

Your point is fair but in practice we see lots of people cramming for CLEP credits, taking the test and then forgetting virtually everything they "learned." The op stated that he has "broad interests" but I'd be more than a little surprised if he already has Bachelors-level knowledge of all those subject areas. It may be unfair but I still think he just wants the paper.

 

CLEP tests have been around for 50 years. I think they've been validated by now.
