I work with 5 high school teachers that all make over 6 figures- 3 of them are under the age of 50 and have many more raises to come before their career is said and done. Not to mention the health insurance, pension, retirement savings contribution match, tuition reimbursement, paid leave, pay through summer, and all the other benefits they get that I don't have and have no hope of ever obtaining. It all depends on where you work and what degrees you have.
