The arguments can be found in previous posts; those arguments have not been refuted successfully. I described many reasons why these nearly 100% testing out degrees are problematic. Students, both current and past, can ignore them if so inclined.

I can't figure out why you care?
Regionally accredited colleges publish allowable transfer and test limits. People follow the rules and earn their degree. There is nothing unethical or afoul going on. You're pretty certain that it's not a good option for you, which is fine, but I don't understand why you're so invested in what other people do? No one is breaking or even bending any rules. <shurg>

Why do you care to promote such information? For the benefit of others. We act for the same reason. Again, to reaffirm, there is nothing wrong with testing and that is a smart move to make. I took some IB classes myself in the past. I agree there is nothing unethical about nearly 100% testing out if permitted by the institution. It is a quality assurance matter.

Sorry, but you're mistaken. I'm not promoting anything, I answered the OP's questions. I have no agenda except to help clear up inaccuracies if I see them, and yes, that's for the benefit of others.

Sounds like someone is jealous because they either had to do it the traditional way, or is not capable of doing it the testing out way.

I tested out of over a year of traditional college (including core curriculum subjects) with CLEP & DANTES exams (thanks to Dr. Bear’s book and the old alt.education.distance newsgroup). I’ve since completed 2 Master’s degrees, am well into a doctoral program, and I don’t feel the least bit hampered from not sitting through 10+ undergrad courses that were going to “teach” me things I already knew.

    Neither is the case.
You are missing a few key points from my arguments, so you may wish to revisit them.
