ACE Educational Leadership - VP or Principal Jobs?

I was just wondering if anyone on this forum used ACE for their Masters in Educational Leadership and then was able to obtain a Principal or VP position? I’m sure it depends on the need and also the state but just curious if anyone was able to get one of those jobs after ACE. Thanks all!

 

I'm guessing the answer is yes although I think that increasingly, school systems are looking for EdD or PhDs for those jobs. You can use LinkedIn to search for ACE degree holders.

 

Thank you for that comment - I wasn’t aware more and more schools are requiring doctorate degrees.

As for Linked In, do you know if you are you able to perform that specific search on the mobile app? I’m not on Linked In yet and need to get on there ASAP. Thanks again for the info.

 

For some reason, the app doesn't work as well in searching out folks' credentials as the mobile site does. I've also had a ton of trouble with their desktop site. Point being, don't waste time with the app right now unless you want to get social media notifications ala Facebook.

 

Alternative approach - ask the school's alumni office. They work hard to stay in touch with grads and they may even have some stats of grads employment.

 

I did a quick LinkedIn search with the filters "American College of Education" (school) and "Principal" (Title). There were 512 results. The first 2 results I clicked on were people who got a principal position after graduating from ACE's educational leadership program (master's). I didn't click any more than that and, as we know, correlation doesn't imply causation, but it looks promising anyway.

I graduated from ACE's doctoral program, but I'm not in the education field nor do I have a master's in education, so I can't speak from personal experience.
