The Trump Foundation has been coloring outside the lines https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-used-his-charitable-foundation-like-a-personal-checkbook-lawsuit-alleges
From the article: "Barbara Underwood, the state’s new attorney general, alleged a widespread campaign of misuse of charitable resources in the service of Trump’s political efforts in a complaint filed in New York’s supreme court on Thursday. Her office is now seeking $2.8 million in penalties, which Trump said on Wednesday he would refuse to pay." Him not wanting to to pay for things is nothing new.
Trump Foundation forced to close. Lawsuit will proceed. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-12-18/ny-ag-says-trump-foundation-signs-stipulation-to-dissolve
What I find most amusing about it is that should NY state succeed in banning the Trumps from running any charitable foundations for 10 years then it may prove difficult to build a Trump Presidential library in his home state of New York. Of course, it would probably be the best for Trump supporters since if the Trumps ran the Trump Presidential Library Foundation then there might never be enough money getting to the library to actually build anything?
While not restricted to the Trump Foundation, this story seems to fit the title of this thread https://www.axios.com/michael-cohen-hearing-trump-organization-executives-119c11fc-e84e-4796-8e07-da631e140f3e.html

Let's not forget that our fraud prone President also had to pay $25 million a few years ago for the Trump University fraud.
As part of the settlement though he was allowed to "admit no wrongdoing", must be one generous individual!
