A relative was considering taking a Criminology program through this U.K. institution. By British standards would this be a "properly accredited" school? They claim accreditation by the "Open and Distance Learning Quality Council" http://www.ruslandcollege.co.uk
I like the comment from their BBS under "Possible not job opportunities": quote from an on-going student: "Do you mean we are doing this course for nothing???????? " adelheid with fixed smilies
And I thought it would be spelled "Russland" in German. adelheid still with fixed smilies - thank you adminstrators!
Re: Here's my half-wit attempt at German: No. not really. But, correct me if I am wrong, sjhould it not be "sprechen sie deutsch?" adelheid "Behave! - Not if I can't help it."
But then, being called "Rusland something", maybe it should be "Nastrovje" instead of "Prost". adelheid "Behave! - Not if I can't help it."
Or should that rathe be "Behave! - Only if I can't help it" - any advise from you linguistics out there? adelheid
My goodness, has everyone gone squirrely? Something to do with Mercury being in Petrograd, I guess. I don't pay close attention to non-degree-granting institutions, but these people seem to have valid recognition, for a private non-degree school. One hopes your relative will shop around, and see what else is out there at comparable prices, unless, of course, a British-focused criminology programme is what he or she is especially looking for.
