I really don't care because I don't plan on teaching. My buckskins have suited me well, and the tired old RA NA debate has not affected me in my career pursuits. Best investments I could have made thanks to this awesome forum. I made informed decisions, and I they have served me well. Thanks Degreeinfo!

BTW. what the fuck does this have to do with anything? As far as withcraft. I could care less about said topic. I am curious to know why the preacher in the video is politicking from the pulpit. He just seems like a freak to me. I have never seen my Catholic Priest politick from the pulpit like that. Maybe that pastor should lose his tax exempt status since he is operating as a mini political machine.

That about covers it for now. Have a good day and get some homework done. I don't know or care what kind of school you go to, but my grad took me three years of intense work. Good job on trying to deningrate my MBA because it's NA. Ha ha, I live in the world. I made an informed decision, and utility has been no problem for me. They have helped me gain promotions in State government because of their accreditation status, and I am loving. Once again, thanks DI! I paid for it all by myself, and I have zero loans to repay.

Know that I have to much coffee! Have a great day! Al la verga!!!!!!!!!! Viva USA (Remain great). Enough with that negative MAGA shit, Merica has always been great! Ariba Ariba! :)

Stanislav, the collegiate market is very competitive for faculty positions and there are many applicants with regionally accredited (RA) degrees. It would be highly unusual for a regionally accredited institution to start dropping its standards. For example, Stanislav, can you provide one (1) example of a tenured professor who is relying exclusively on a degree that are not regionally accredited to be employed at a regionally accredited institution? Just one? You can't and you know it. o_O

Stanislav, here is an excellent thread to discuss accredited degrees:

Stanislav, Abner's original thread topic is about witchcraft. Isn't that an interesting topic to discuss? o_O

I could make a cynical joke about what your Catholic priest spends his time doing, but I'll refrain.

More seriously, just attend a Unitarian Universalist service (or whatever they call them). It's all left-politics, all the time. The Episcopalians aren't much better.

So conservative Baptists aren't the only ones who mix politics and religion Abner. You're just "triggered" by this Baptist because you don't like his brand of politics.

    Well, I don't like yours.

Plus, you skipped over the fact that he is "politicking" from the pulpit, which is against the US tax exempt code. I have never been to a legit church that peddles in politics.

Abner, many of the founding fathers of the Constitution were also part-time preachers who preached politics from the pulpit. However, in 1954, the Johnson Amendment was created in the U.S. tax code to prohibit all 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations from endorsing or opposing political candidates. In the video that you posted, the Protestant preacher was not endorsing or opposing any political candidate, but he and his congregation were praying for the safety of President Donald J. Trump, which is not a violation of the Johnson Amendment. The Johnson Amendment needs to be abolished. Period.

The Johnson amendment needs to stay right where it is. I have never seen a preacher/priest worth his salt politicking from the pulpit. There is a reason for the Johnson amendment and why it came about. Praying for sexual predator known as trump is tantamount to politicking in my book.

Reread my last post. A number of denominations are dominated these days by left-politics. A couple of examples from the Episcopal church.

    http://www.lasacredresistance.org/about.html

    https://www.gracecathedral.org/social-justice/

You even more or less admitted it yourself by starting this thread:

    https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?threads/100-000-u-s-christian-churches-demand-withdrawal-of-kavanaughs-supreme-court-nomination.52851/

So this Baptist guy isn't doing anything that many other churches aren't doing as well. The only difference is that you don't like what he's saying while you like what the left-wing churches are saying.

If we really enforced the laws against politics from the pulpit, guess who would be screaming the loudest? (It would have shut up Rev. Martin Luther King, wouldn't it?)

The thing that you need to learn Abner is that not everyone thinks the same way you do. There's a wide diversity of opinion out there. If you try to selectively enforce tax laws in hopes of silencing political enemies, that's just totalitarianism. (The Obama administration already tried that.)

Abner, don't swear, either by heaven because it is the throne of God, nor by the earth because it is his footstool, nor by Jerusalem because it is the city of the great King. And do not swear by your head because you cannot make one hair white or black. Let what you say be simply yes or no because anything more than this comes from evil (Matthew 5:34-37).

Abner, of course you do. o_O
