Some people laughed at the ridiculousness of this hearing. Others were simply embarrassed. I sat through about an hour of it and couldn't take anymore, but it was because of the people "questioning" him. I missed the fight that almost broke out among our elected leaders.

 

Peter Strzok will easily find a date in prison.

The way I read it, Strzok's expressions and body-language were kind of a "Fuck You" directed squarely at the United States Congress. He was communicating that he's part of the Deep State and untouchable.

Whenever a Republican asked him a question that might put him on the spot, democrats started shouting over the questions trying to silence the questioning. Or else Strzok would announce that "FBI attorneys" directed him not to answer. Leaving unanswered how 'FBI attorneys' had any authority to shield the FBI and its top officials from Congress' Constitutional oversight responsibilities. But whatever the legalities (or lack of them) with that, he felt that he was PROTECTED. And he was letting the Republicans know that he knew it.

 

Heirophant, you are 100% correct: That is Peter Strzok's way of saying F you to law and order. Even after being fired and losing a pension, he is still saying "F you" to a legitimate Congressional inquiry. Next will come the criminal inquiry of Strzok's treason. After Strzok is sent to prison, he can perform his "shake and bake prance" for his fellow inmates to thoroughly enjoy.

 

Strzok get's investigated for possible bias in his investigation by a bunch of people who are biased in their investigation. An ironic farce.

 

What is that Congress's approval rating, again? It seems like the American public feels roughly like Strzok on this one.

Devil advocate - maybe Strzok’s bias was too extreme, even for biased investigators. Not saying this was the case, but I have seen people get called out for doing precisely what others have done.
