    hello !

Just wondering if anyone's heard/know of any online or hybrid nursing programs for non-nursing majors?

Can be an AAS, or a BS program. Basically its for someone who's got no nursing credentials and would like to venture into this area.

to become a nurse, you need clinical skills that you've practiced on a patient. You can, however, get your RN in person through your CC and go into one of a zillion online for non-nursing majors BSN programs. They exist all over.

Yeah, was hoping there was other places that had a WGU style nursing program

The only one that I'm aware of is Excelsior College in New York State. It seems to currently require applicants to have prior clinical experience as an LVN, EMT or something like that.

Be careful with this one, because some US states don't recognize it for RN licensing purposes or place additional burdens on Excelsior graduates such as having to perform additional clinical preceptorships.

I believe that California won't license Excelsior graduates at all.

If you already have a bachelor's in an unrelated subject, there are some online direct entry BSN and MSN options available to you. In reality, these are hybrid programs, and most require you to complete clinical rotations in a hospital near the campus (or at least in the same state). There are some programs that work with you to find clinical rotations in your home area.
