Thanks Bruce. On another topic, I already got a suggestion from someone to try CBD oil. Ah, yeah right! I'll get right on. I think people are well meaning, but come on. I just shook my head and said "thanks".

Hang in there, this is bad news, but experimental drugs can offer new hope!! I can share more than 1 story of personal family/friends that found success through experimental treatments. I hope to count you and Kim among them!

Thanks Jennifer. If the new rounds of chemo don't work, the doc said we are in serious trouble. He told her to get her affairs in order just in case.

I've read that the best of physicians or researchers can be ignorant of what is being done outside of their little spheres. Aside from some outright quacks out there, you might find an effective treatment elsewhere.

Thanks for your comments Mr. Decimon. The doc is trying a new drug in this next round of chemo which is good, he is very progressive. I am praying for that this round will work. If it doesn't things will not be good to say the least. There may be no other options left after this new round. Leave it without saying that I am quite spooked. There is a lot riding on this next round.

I am guessing that this second round should probably be hard on Kim's body to include nausea and other side effects. As of this writing, all of her hair has fallen out. It amazes me that in this day and age, some people stare when she wears scarves on her head rather than wigs. She has cancer YOU fucking idiots! She is not a lesbian, not that there is anything wrong with lesbians.

This is true. Kim went and got a second opinion for UCLA, they concur with her current treatment. They are trying two news forms of chemo on her. They are brand new on the shelf.

Hope you had a good Thanksgiving!

    Good.

You too. If that's possible when you still need air conditioning. ;-)

Kim is on her third round of chemo. Only slight progress. The last chemo slowed down the cancer, but did not stop. On to the third round with new chemo!

Your continued thoughts and prayers would be appreciated! Thanks :)

    Have a good day!

Yeah, out here in Cali it still gets hot sometimes during the winter months. :) I think that 60 degrees is freezing, but when my father in law from visits from Mass visits Cali, he wears shorts and a T-shirt. I guess he used to super cold temperatures, I am not because I am a Cali native.

Right now (4:48 PM) it's 37 degrees and it seems warmer than usual. The buds are not out on the trees yet but I've seen geese coming back from the South and there are crocuses blooming. No forsythias yet though. I'm guessing we'll have one more snowstorm before Spring actually arrives in a full-fledged way. I think we're a month ahead of schedule and so March will be "In like a lamb and out like a different lamb."

John: There is some very persuasive evidence in juried medical journals that some forms of cannabis can have dramatic effect on some kinds of cancer. For instance, I am dealing with multiple myeloma, and articles like the following offer some real hope:

My inclination would be to consider anything, mainstream or otherwise, that was not overtly ridiculous or harmful. CBD oil is neither, so....
