'Ello, I've put together a degree plan for Excelsiors BsBA in General Business. Is there anything I missed or anything that looks wrong? I want to be done with all or most of the exams before actually enrolling.

How hard are the UExcel and TECEP exams compared to CLEP? I have a full time job and am enrolled in another degree program so just trying to gauge how much time studying will take if I squeeze in 2-3 exams minimum per week.

    Thanks!

That's a workable plan. You may want to double check the requirements for the degree with the Excelsior webpage and their master exam PDF.

In terms of how hard compared to a CLEP, TECEP/UExcel's are usually UL and CLEP is lower level, the material are different and people study differently.

Your best bet in any exam is review the exam requirements and what is going to be tested on, TECEP's have a pdf of recommended text, guideline, and a sample test.

Which other degree are you going for and from which school?

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't really study for CLEP but I assume TECEP/UExcel will require some sort of prep then. Forgot where exactly but I read some people complaining online about how hard UExcel was and that they're trying to fail you.

I'm finishing up an AS in math and sciences and am admitted to modelling and simulation engineering at ODU from the Fall, not sure if I'll do that or the cheaper CS degree at Fort Hays though I'd rather spend more on grad school. These are regular programs though so finishing up my degree at ODU will take at least 2 more years if not more, will depend on finances which are pretty tight right now due to a family illness, but I do need a degree asap and I figured I can get one in 6-8 months or so from one of the Big 3.

Do you happen to know whether it's possible to test out of a psychology or technical degree? I did check, doesn't seem to be but wanted to ask to make sure. :p
