I'm having a really hard time with my studies, particularly in Business, Economics, and Risk Management subjects. I am so close to failing this semester. This is my third time getting into college. Please don't judge me. I'm not lazy or anything. I work part time just so I can pay my rent and eat 3 meals a day. I've just been so busy. My parents are counting on me because I'm the supposed "breadwinner" of our family. My budget is not that big for tutoring, so I'm willing to join any FREE tutoring classes or group meetings. It is just unfortunate that my friends are in different states... I have no one to talk to or get help from with this problem of mine. Any suggestions, advice or help is deeply appreciated... Thank you!
Does your school offer tutoring? Most do, usually at no additional cost. If you have an office of student services or student success or something like that, ask them. And good luck!
I can feel the pressure. Being a breadwinner is tough responsibility. Try consulting your guidance counselor about your concerns. They can help the students in areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and some family related issues.
I agree. I think the only therapist near me is the guidance counselor in my university. I would pay a visit and hopefully she can help me with my struggles.
