Sorry, but I've got no inside information on that program. I am wondering, however, if there's a reason that you singled out that particular program?

My daughter got a Masters in Computer Science from VT but I don't know if that is the same program you are talking about. She also got a Ph.D. from VT in that field. She was immediately hired at MIT for a research position at Lincoln Laboraties and worked there for 4 years until she went on to bigger and better things.

It certainly worked out well for her. Her husband got a Master's in a computer science related field as well and was hired at the Harvard Law Library, where he still works. I've only heard good things about VT from the two of them. If I were considering a school I would consider location, convenience and cost as well as reputation. As far as reputation, I don't think you will go wrong. Go Hokies.
