While looking for something else entirely, I came across they very interesting program offered by Humboldt State University. It would look great on the resume of anyone looking to get into teaching (online or residential), and is super cheap ($220 per credit X 12 credits = $2,640 for the program). Certificate in Faculty Preparation: Teaching in Higher Education - Humboldt State University College of eLearning and Extended Education - Arcata, Calif. USA
Supervisory & Leadership Certificate ~ ONLINE! Graduate School USA - Leadership, Supervision & Management Certificate “Effective November 2012, Graduate School USA is a Candidate for Accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education…” Supervisory Skills | eCornell Supervisory Management Certificate Supervision Certificate | College of Continuing Education
Thanks Bruce. Do you think this is really a difference maker? Maybe, possibly for a first team adjunct.
I don't know, to be honest. I gave up trying to figure out how schools select online adjuncts, but it certainly can't hurt, and it's as cheap an RA credential as you're going to find out there.
