Hi everyone, I apologize if this is already in a thread somewhere. If it is, please feel free to point me in the right direction. I have my diploma in nursing and am wanting to obtain a bachelor degree. The program has to be fully online. I am looking for something health related - health education, health sciences, public health, global health, global development - anything like that. Does anyone know of any good programs to take fully online? Europe would be great as I know the tuition costs aren't as high and I am an EU citizen. Thanks again
Hi NJW, I work for Azusa Pacific University College, and we offer a BS in Health Science completely online. Please feel free to send me a PM with your contact info and I'll provide you some advice on the program we offer.
Have you considered getting your BSN? There are more online RN-BSN programs than you can shake a stick at. A BSN will make you more marketable as a nurse, if you are still working as one. Alternatively you could major in healthcare administration, for example Southern New Hampshire University is relatively inexpensive.
Here's one from UMass: BA, Health Studies Concentrations | www.umassonline.net I think you'll find that such programs are rather numerous and you'll have many choices. This typically means that additional criteria will have to exist in order to make a decision. Cost, name brand, concentrations are all criteria that might be used to narrow things down.
Open University (UK) has a BS in nursing online BSc (Honours) Nursing Practice | The Open University Robert Gordon has 2 BS. by distance learning. Public Health and Occupational health Distance and Flexible Learning | Health Professions | Robert Gordon University (RGU) Aberdeen Scotland
The Open University one requires you to be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council in the UK. Something that may or may not play into that. Otherwise it looked like a fantastic programme.
