There use to be a list on here that had all the MBA programs listed and price. Don't know what happened to it. Should have been a sticky. Can someone tell me any schools online that are under 8k, and allow financial aid? thanks
I think this is the list you were referring to. It's mentioned in one of the many threads that come up if you use the search gadget. Just type in "Low cost MBA." Here's the list: Online Degree Search Results: 434 Accredited Online MBA Degree Programs | GetEducated.com Another oft-quoted list, with 190 US MBA Distance programs and 61 foreign, here: https://sites.google.com/site/aggietechie/ BTW - I think the cutoff for US RA programs nowadays is just a bit above $8K. NA programs start from $3,500 (ILM). Johann
And if low-cost foreign programs are of any interest to you, a fully-accredited Indian Distance MBA can cost less than $3,000 for overseas students. Jaipur National U. ($2,600) and Don Bosco U. (~$2,200) are two I recall offhand. We have had threads on both. Johann
Or for those who prefer a U.S. school, for just $3500 one can do the MBA from William Loveland College.
Off of the top of my head, I can name one school with an MBA under $8k: Online Master of Business Administration In order to get in-state tuition, you need to limit yourself to 6 or fewer credits per semester. And one school with an MBA just a bit over $8k: WSC - Master of Business Administration
Yes - Steve and I were referring to the same program. Same school. from the WLC accreditation statement, on their site: William Loveland College (aka Institute of Logistical Management) has received Provisional Authorization by the State of Colorado, Department of Higher Education, Colorado Commission on Higher Education, as a Private Degree Granting Institution. The same page also confirms their DETC accreditation. Johann
Are you sure about $8,000? I think it's around $250 a credit all told, still reasonable. - ENMU's program is also ACBSP-accredited. A real bonus! Nice one, Maniac! Johann
And yes - Wayne State comes highly recommended. Wayne State, Chadron State, WGU and Amberton have long been RA MBA price-leaders -- I think they're all likely over 8K now - unless you can set a speed record with WGU. And I checked again - ENMU resident rate is $223 per credit, incl. fees and $10 per credit online charge. The degree is 30 credits, so $6,690 in tuition and fees - well within the $8K budget. Well done, Maniac! Thanks again. Johann
ENMU...Portales, Roosevelt County, New Mexico. Sigh. I know it well. Beautiful, liberal arts like campus surrounded by flat peanut fields and ultra Right Wing Fundamentalist churches. The school has a strict no alcohol policy even in grad student housing. And yet I liked living there. You will never find better hearted people or better barbecue and the sense of space, of open room, is addicting. Good weather, too. Amazing skies and terrifying thunderstorms. I'd go back if the need arose. I know the OP is looking for a D/L program but I hope there's a chance to visit. In its way, the place is amazing.
If you can complete the MBA in one year, then WGU will come in under $8k. I don't think one year is unreasonable. Patten University would also be less than $8k.
