It's me again. I signed up for some service where they assist you in finding a school that suppose to fit your needs and goals. Anywho they directed me toward Antioch University.

They have a BA in Human Services Administration. It looks like I could benefit from a lot of their courses and it's only $750 per course!( I think its the cheapest I've found with a good program).

I have only a few concerns they don't have scholarships, it seems like I read on here were they came under some fire a couple of years back I'm not sure if they got their stuff together. And since they did come under fire I'm worried if they're RA.

Does anyone have any thoughts? Any experiences?

That's not bad. Or you could do a Bachelor's degree in Human Services through the University of the Cumberlands and pay $597 per course, which doesn't sound that different, but if you still need twenty courses that would be a difference of about three grand. (Six grand for someone starting from scratch.) With a difference like that, price is probably less important than personal fit. I could have saved about six grand by choosing a less expensive school for my Master's degree, but I was happy with the one I chose.

As for scholarships, schools almost never offer them for online programs. (And I'm only saying "almost" to be safe from the encyclopedic knowledge of tiny exceptions that people around here have....)

I'm still trying to decide. I've offically become the most indecisive person on earth!

It's between DePaul and Antioch. I'm leaning more toward Antioch because they present a great program and it's most cost effective. But I can't find ANY recent reviews on them.

Student Reviews has a small number of reviews for the school. Not sure if that is enough to be helpful. $750 per course seems high.

I received my MA from Antioch University New England... but it was no where near that cheap. Is that an online/DE degree that you are looking at? If so, which campus is offering it? There is a completely online PhD program done through Antioch, but I had no idea about anything else. Very interesting!

I enjoyed my experience with Antioch, but I was in a completely "brick & mortar" program. I've heard good things about the online PhD, so I assume that any other online learning would be a decent one.

Also, Antioch University is accredited by the HLC (NCACS). The non-accredited Antioch which you may be thinking of is Antioch College, which has re-opened as a separate institution since the university system closed it in 2009. It's still working on becoming accredited.

$750 per course is CHEAP. That is either $250 per credit for a 3 credit course, or $187 for a 4 credit course.

$750 would be high if it was the per credit rate, but that's actually about what I paid during my masters program... and sadly, that's cheaper than many other Masters degree programs in mental health counseling.

I'm going to attend the one in Ohio, there midwest campus. And it's completely online. I think this is really cheap actually considering all the other programs that had what I wanted was 2-3 times more expensive.

This week I spoke with the "Program Director" of the BA in Management at Antioch Online. The program sounds great and the price of $250 per credit is a great value. Unfortunately, they only take a max of 70 credit hours in transfer. The "program Director", who was very nice and informative, didn't feel that it was a good fit for my situation (Seeking a second undergraduate degree). FYI
