I don't know if I would consider SMC a swiss school. It doesn't show in the list of recognized schools by WES (recognized credential evaluator for employment and educational purposes in the US) that is listed below. I am not sure if the OP intention was to promote this school but I would expect problems with recognition as it is not listed with WES, this means that the OP would need to convince WES that SMC is recognized in Switzerland before being considered as an equivalent to a US degree. Not because the school is in Switzerland, automatically is considered of quality. The same stands for schools like the Canadian School of Management that operates in Canada but its degrees are not recognized as such in Canada for employment purposes. Don't want to diminish the efforts of the OP but just a word of caution for others considering this option.

The intention was certainly not to promote the school but to acknowledge and appreciate the guidance received via this forum when I was making the decision to start a doctoral program. That is evident in my first post where I mentioned the university name for context and only discussed the program and school, when members specifically asked about it.

The issue why SMC is not accredited by Swiss authorities and the status of it's progams has been discussed several times in this forum over the past few years and a search will bring up those threads.

Again, please do your due diligence on any school or program before signing up.
