    Hello friends,

I want to ask you guys what business course should I teach in college ?

I hold an MBA degree and I'm very good in training such as "interview skills , resume writing , career consulting " right now I'm considering starting teaching In local community college but I'm not sure what courses cover these topics in college level , it's been a while since I graduated .

Thanks for the help in advance your advise always appreciated !!

Considering how much competition there is for teaching positions, even part time ones, wouldn't you want to apply for as many as you could find? Generally, it's schools doing the choosing these days, not instructors.

Having an MBA doesn't automatically qualify you to teach any business course. Typically, you will need a minimum of 18 graduate hours in a specific business discipline such as marketing, accounting, finance, etc.

AFAIC if you don't already know what you can teach then you can't teach anything. :smashfreakB: Sorry.

Well, she does know, since she said she can teach interview skills, resume writing, and offer career consulting. The problem is that, at least at North American schools, that's usually done on a non-credit basis by the career services people, who are staff, not faculty.

I agree. The areas you mentioned are usually not taught in college courses but offered by the university as a service to students via full-time university staff members in the career services department.
