"The classes that I need have a lot of tests- mostly multiple choice with some short answer. The language requirement has speaking requirements, and I'm not good with that even in English."

The suspense is killing me... :aargh4:

I would echo the sentiments expressed here and just "get 'er done" with your current school. A degree from an ivy league school will get you SO much further than one from the "Big 3" (and this is coming from someone with an A.S. from Excelsior). There is nothing wrong with the Big 3 schools, but in no way shape or form are they going to provide the name recognition or opportunities that having an ivy league school on your resume would.

I would second the recommendation to hire tutors to help you through your last two classes. Don't give up on an ivy league degree given how close you are to the finish line!

    Best of luck!

    Thanks for the encouragement everyone!

I had more or less given up hope that I would ever finish the degree.

I don't see what I had posted about my course descriptions or learning disabilities. But, I'm terrible at the 2 remaining requirements: Spanish and an advanced science.

What if you can't self-study the subjects and can't find any local schools that you could be a non-degree student at?

I already took the maximum number of non-degree credits at the local colleges for other degree requirements years ago.

I haven't been able to find comparable classes online.

I need a advanced conversational Spanish class, preferably with some grammar that could be useful in teaching. I've tried self-studying, but it's not working.I had stupidly chosen it as the 'minor'/specialty and can't avoid this requirement now.

I need an upper division science class-- advanced botany, zoology, or similar in an upper division. I used to want to teach.

Unfortunately I no longer live near my college. It sure would be easier to finish if I was still local.

I've been trying to find a faculty member willing to let me independent/remotely take the Advanced Spanish class, but none have been willing so far. I'll keep looking.

I'll have to look into reading courses more too.
