Read an article on Charles Bracelen Flood - in a futile effort to become as smart as Ted. Mr. Flood died, at 84, in Richmond Va., 2014.

Well, I guess Charles Bracelen Flood won't be writing any more books.

I'm currently reading Scott Jurek's "Eat & Run". Jurek has been a dominate force in ultramarathoning for almost two decades and this book focuses on his early career nutritional transition to becoming a vegetarian followed by a vegan a couple of years later.

Cool! Gardening. That's a hell of a price. Take about cheap. My neighbor goes to some waste disposal place, and they sell all kinds of products people throw away. Stuff like weed killer - Home Depot - $13.99 - waste disposal - $49 cents. He just gives me all kinds of good stuff like that.

'The Incredible Unlikeliness of Being - Evolution and the Making of Us' by Alice Roberts. 2014, Heron Books. It's a layperson's level account of the evolutionary developmental biology of the human body. Very conversational and not overly technical (probably not technical enough if you are a biology student). I'm about 100 pages in (she's discussing the development of the human skull) and all in all, I like it.
