Yes, everyone you disagree with is either lacking intelligence, liberally biased, or just plain wrong. Enjoy your "disgust," then.

This entire case is a political witch hunt. If it were a garden variety case, Zimmerman would not have been arrested, charged and prosecuted. The jury will be disgusted and will find Zimmerman "not guilty." Unfortunately, Zimmerman's teats had to be put through the political ringer for him to be found not guilty.

Anyone who says politics isn't ruling law enforcement and the courts is blind. Only the garden variety cases are immune from political witch hunts.

    Nuts.

And if he is found guilty? Would he actually be guilty? Or would he instead be a victim of...well...any number of conspiracies? I find it interesting that some people posting here have already decided his innocence. And while some continue to point out factors that point to his guilt, we're not seeing people claiming the certainty of his guilt.

    Why am I not surprised?

    Or guilty.
Of course, it was "law enforcement" that let him go in the first place. So they're both right and wrong, huh?

There are a lot of passions wrapped up in this. I can't wait for the verdict. If he's innocent, many will just move on. But if he's guilty, there will be heads exploding with rage.

Under what circumstances is Zimmerman allowed to approach this kid and engage him--in any fashion?

Perhaps Martin was "standing his ground" and Zimmerman shot him. Occam's Razor.

Coming from you that doesn't mean much as you take snarky little jabs at anyone that doesn't share your (liberal, unintelligent, wrong) point of view.

And consider as well Rich; if found not guilty … there are others too who will not simply move on because such will not coincide with their own convenient agenda/s.

Or maybe they'll just accept what the justice system decided in the case. Either way, in fact.

In this thread, there are people who are absolutely convinced Zimmerman is being wronged by being tried. If he's found guilty, I can't wait to see their reaction.

This thread is filled with opinion and speculation, neither of which can really be wrong. But only one side of the discussion is willing to hate. I'm shocked (shocked!) to see yet again which it is, willing to strike at even those who don't necessarily disagree because they don't reflexively and uncritically agree.

I don't care if he's guilty or innocent. I'm also fine with him being tried to determine that. And I'm good with whatever the trial results will be. You can't say that. You can call me names, but you can't say you're open to things as they emerge.

Obviously, you've already decided Zimmerman is innocent--you've said that. Have you lined up your perpetrators if he's found guilty? The liberal media, perhaps? Or a dishonest judge? Jury tampering? Maybe someone got to his defense lawyers?

If he's found guilty, it's going to be very interesting to see the reactions. I just wish I had the tin foil concession.

If he is found guilty I'll simply think that the justice system failed. If he is found guilty I won't be enraged, I will feel for a man who was screwed over to appease a subset of society that can't accept that this kid's actions led to his demise. I've come to expect to be disappointed by most people at this point. The stupidity of society in general doesn't shock me anymore. We've sold out common sense in the name of being politically correct to a fault.

If he's found guilty, the worst that will happen will be a vigil and some very angry forum posts. If he is found innocent, he'd probably have to flee the country to find safety. I expect a huge overreaction- maybe even riots a la 1992. It's a bad situation when most people believe that the sides to choose are between Martin and Zimmerman as opposed to the side of justice or the side of truth. If you ask me- which of course, nobody ever does :nana: - neither Trayvon nor Zimmerman come off as the "good guy" in this situation, none of us can ever really know the truth and this is not the type of case where justice can ever really be served.

And many are convinced he is guilty. If he is found not guilty who will they blame? By the way, I blame the liberal media for just about everything...if the shoe fits...:silly:

My reaction to a guilty verdict? Damn. Then I'll head right out and continue to try and teach my son to hit his left handed layups, catch and shoot off the pass, and recover quicker on defense. I'll continue to hound my beautiful wife for sex and to support my sister in her fight against breast cancer.

The reaction from the people in the professional grievance industry? Well, lets just say my Norwegian and Scot friends will not be pulling truckers from their rigs and bashing their heads in with breaks or "finding" TV's and stereo's in burning business's.

    Are you watching the trial?

I’m certain Zimmerman in hindsight would have altered his actions that evening. Even so and thus far, there have been no witnesses to counter his assertion of self-defense; and the burden of proof (evidence) to thwart Zimmerman’s claim rest with the State. All lawyers recognize … it’s not what you know (or believe you know) … it’s what you can prove in a court of law. It appears (to date) this hurdle is outside the prosecution’s reach.

The second comment weakens the first one, IMO. And I say that as someone who more or less agrees with you on this particular matter.

So they are not going to allow the jury to see the texts about TM fighting? About how excited he was when he bloddied another kids nose? How he won the 1st round lost the 2nd but won the 3rd round in one of his fight? The jury won't see that TM was trying to buy a gun and that his father knew about it?

Oh well TM is not on trial here, GZ is. Defense is still rock solid despite this setback.

Current witness is sure taking the prosecution for a loop. Wish I could see the Jury, wonder if they are catching the eye rolls and smirks from Defense?

If the case goes against GZ, not allowing the texts will just be more grounds for an appeal of the judges' bias.
