I received an email inviting me to the Fort Hays State University honorsociety.org member society. Is anyone familiar with honorsociety.org? It gives an list of benefits like scholarships, career resources, grad school prep courses, and a free year of language courses. I don't see any mention of membership fees, but I also don't want to get spammed with marketing. I just want to know if it's legit and worth accepting the membership. Thanks.
Probably not worth it. Besides having a terrible name, honorsociety.org is not certified by the Association of College Honor Societies, which is a bad sign.
