Hello: I'm looking at Colorado State's and Mississippi State's PhD programs in Systems Engineering. Any on this board a student in one of these programs. Any input on each program would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    A Small Rub...

One consideration when considering a masters or doctorate in anything labeled "engineering". As a general rule, most schools require an undergraduate degree in engineering to pursue a graduate degree in "engineering". There are some exceptions - for example, Colorado State says that PhD candidates in systems engineering must have:

"B.S. degree from a regionally-accredited institution in engineering, mathematics, or a science discipline"
