Hey everyone, does anyone know if Troy (or any college) has accepted credits for the Biology course from Straighterline? I would love to go this route instead of spending the money/time for taking the class, but don't want it to be a waste....Thanks for your input!

I doubt it...but no harm in asking them.

Troy most likely will not accept the credit direct from SL because they are not a partner school. However, you can simply have the course added to your ACE transcript and they have that sent to Troy. Troy has always had a very flexible acceptance policy as it relates to testing and ACE credits. Otherwise, they would not attract as many military students as they do. I have a number of soldiers in my command that are currently Troy students, and love it.

I'd be very happy to hear Troy accepts it on an ACE transcript. Please let us know if that works.

Dumb question, but how do I get it on an ACE transcript...anyone know? Does it cost anything?

You have to set it up on the ace website, then just tell SL to send it there. I want to say it costs $40

Go to the ACE web site link here: https://www2.acenet.edu/credit/?fuseaction=transcripts.main

Create an account. This cost you nothing. When you request your first transcript, you will pay the account fee and the transcript fee. If my memory serves me correctly, the account fee is a one time charge of $30 and each transcript request is $15.00.
