    Thanks everyone!
And Randell/soupbone, yep that's me. Penn State is my "holy grail, I would die a happy woman if I ever went there" school :)

As for what I would like to do, I have a broad spectrum of things, but primarily I am interested in Public Health and Emergency Preparedness as well as epidemiology. Basically I'm trying to find a way/niche where I can combine that into Emergency Disaster Administration and Bioterrorism Response. I'm also interestd in Criminal Justice and Bioterrorism.

The problem I'm running into is I have years of analyst experience working for the government and healthcare, but I'm competing with former military and they get first choice for the jobs. I'm always "almost there" in the hiring process, so I am wanting to get another Master's to make myself more competitive but just not sure what it is.

An M.A. in Criminal Justice would be great but I don't have a police background. Something like Penn's MPS in Homeland Security is awesome, but a lot of the Homeland Security people are former MPs so I don't fit in there either. I'm just an average person who finds it fascinating.

Congratutations Heather! You have every right to be proud. I did mine while working and parenting but not pregnant and/or a single parent. Enjoy your success!

If you have any questions about the MPS program through PSU, send me a message or post it here. I'd be more than happy to provide feedback. There are several options within the program to consider. I graduate in May. ;)

Heather, whatever happened with your enrollment in the MA in Theological Studies program at Southwestern College? You must have changed your mind on pursuing that. Could I ask why?

I can't believe I'm so late in saying this but a HUGE CONGRATS Heather! Welcome to the "MBA Club" and more importantly the Ashford University MBA Survivors Society. Their MBA is a gauntlet isn't it? I remember when I finished I was so happy that I wanted to party for a week but so tired I needed a nap first. Then after a week or two break after such intense work for so long I found myself with more free time than I knew what to do with. Since then kids have pretty much swiped most of that but you get the idea.

BTW...I am managing a project now that is developing a string of business continuity plans for an IT department of several hundred people. If you're into Homeland Security and whatnot, maybe look into Business Continuity as a potential career field, I work with some well paid consultants right now I can tell you that.
