    Your opinion of UMass L?

    How transfer friendly are they? I have about 70 credits, mostly 1 and 200 level, plus a couple 3 and 400, from community college, and a state University (both not in Mass). What are my chances of transferring most of those?

    TIA

    That sucks, Calc 1 & 2, and English 1 & 2, etc are not really classes I'd like to take again, plus I'd be losing out on what I paid to take those.

    What's a good school, regionally accredited w/decent reputation, $300-400/hr, that accepts most transfer credits (math, english, sociolgy, etc)?

    TIA

    Thomas Edison State College will accept all 120 credits in transfer, but they have to fit your degree program. Just because you have 70 credits on your transcript, that doesn't mean they're all going to be applicable to the degree you're seeking.

    As for UMass-Lowell, if my memory serves me correctly, they'll accept 60 credits in transfer at the undergraduate level, but don't hold me to that.

    Yep, I just emailed UML, they will accept 60 credits towards a bachelor's, and 30 towards an associates. They seems to think my credits would transfer but need to see my transcripts. Looks like TESC is pretty expensive for out of state residents.

    I don't know what degree you're seeking, but if cost is a concern, you might want to take a look at Peru State College. Not nearly as many major options as TESC, but still a state college at a very modest cost;
