Doctor of Physical Therapy Programs

    No worries. Currently (and I'm sure in the future, too), only practicing PTs are allowed to do the online programs. :) And if the rest of the DPT programs (those for entry-level PTs) were to all switch to the distance learning mode, they would be hybrid, not online, at best, with labs done in person.

    My buddy has a DPT and he got his way back in 2003 and the University of St Augustine when it was just starting to become the thing to do. I think it was an extra 9 months on top of the masters but it was also accelerated.
    Those DPT students had some wild parties!

    University of St. Augustine (DETC AND CAPTE accredited) is the exception. U of St. Augustine offers a Part-time, Flexible Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) | University of St. Augustine. This an entry level program combing online courses with weekend labs in FL and CA.

    Interesting program! As expected, it's hybrid, not online, which remains consistent with the current practice of schools offering online programs only to practicing PTs (makes sense).

    My friend graduated from there and is running 3 clinics now.
