I have some questions about the MA in Professional Development and I called them (and left a message) and emailed them and have not gotten a response. That is not a good sign. Does anyone have any experience with them?
Hello, I started a similar thread a couple of weeks ago. I am interested in the same degree. Here it is http://www.degreeinfo.com/distance-learning-discussions/37807-cheap-graduate-credit-transfer.html I spoke to them a couple of times, I was a able to reach them right away. I would also like to hear from current and/or former students. Thanks,
Years ago I took one graduate business course from them to apply as credit towards an MBA I was pursuing at a well-known business school. I had very good experiences with Amberton, both in getting quick responses to inquiries from admin staff and attention from the professor. The professor wasn't a traditional scholar, more a working professional, but he knew his stuff reasonably well and did a competent job of managing the class and dispensing knowledge. The experience was good, not that much short of the type of attention and challenge I got from the large, nationally-known university from whence I got my MBA and the top-40 university from whence I got my on-ground doctorate. I'm sure the student body there isn't as strong as the places where I got my degrees, but I have no knocks on the quality of the experience. Amberton is not AACSB, if that matters to you, but the class I took there was accepted for credit in my AACSB MBA program.
