Generally, you should not use the term "professor" unless the school uses it to refer to you.

In some cases, it can break down like this:

    Adjunct instructor: MA/MS
    Adjunct professor: PhD/EdD/DBA

In some cases, the "professor" title might be awarded for a special reason.

The University of Iowa is even more specific:

For Faculty | College of Liberal Arts & Sciences | The University of Iowa

    Appointment to Adjunct Faculty Status

Adjunct faculty appointments carry faculty rank (adjunct instructor; adjunct assistant, associate, and full professor); the expectations at each rank are similar to those for the same rank on the tenure track. For the procedures for appointing adjunct faculty, see "Faculty Recruitment" on the For DEOs section of this web site.

On my CV I just list it as - Online Adjunct Instructor

Yeah, similar. I save the "online" part for the description, though, but I'd call that just a style choice.

I know that feeling all too well! There is so much to learn out there, how can you possibly only pick one degree? So how many degrees do you actually have now? I have 2, and I'm definitely looking into my next endeavor. As far as the "logical" thing to do, that's up to you! Do you have a specific career in mind? Or do you currently have a career that one of these certificates or masters degrees can boost? That's definitely something to keep in mind.

I have 1 AA, 2 BS, 3 masters (one class left for the third), and a PhD. I already have a successful career. I think I will take a break and enjoy the summer with some light reading. Who knows from there.
