I have spent the last few days going back and fourth on a couple different Master's program options and I even went so far as to break out the old pros/cons list :eek:mfg: but doing this actually let me see why this degree fit better for me than the other I was considering. My choices were Professional Counseling versus Applied Behavior Analysis.

I just applied to the Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis at Ball State University. I am excited and happy with my choice and I went this route for many reasons but the main pull was the portability I feel I will have with this degree.

If anyone has done this program or anything similar I would love any information. At this point I will not start their program until May 2011 so I will have a 2 month break after my Bachelors program which I will spend reading A LOT!

Congrats! Good luck with your application. Did you need to submit GRE scores for this program?

Congratulation on your decision! You'll have lot of balls at least one from the school itself. :) j/k.

It was Ball State Teacher's College (now named Ball State University) in 1964 where events took place that would forever change the lives of Deaf people in America. A 3-day conference turned into a professional revolution, resulting in the formation of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. For me to explain everything they do, and have accomplished in their history, would require many pages. Let's just say, for starters, that RID is to sign language interpreters as ASE is to mechanics. Their certification is considered to be the top-notch credential for qualified interpreters. Many states even have it written in statute that RID certification is required for employment in the field.

That connection should make you proud

    MC: What was that?

    TEK: A joke.

    MC: I disagree.
