It's a legitimate school with a decent reputation in the UK.

Ok then :) Food justice / hunger politics / sustainable seed science are all areas of interest to me....who'da thunk there was such a degree? I might have to put that on my fantasy resume. :fest30: (fantasy resume IS my fantasy football game)

....not too expensive and pretty fast....hummm.......

It's not the City University of London; it's The City University, which is located London.

    Please re-read my post.

The original poster labeled it City University of London which is incorrect. "London" is put after the name of the university because most UK universities are in the city that is in the name of the university. The "London" is to inform you that it is in London. It is not part of the university's name.

The university's full name is City University London. [IMG]

No "of," but "London" seems to be part of the name (cf. their website).

By Royal Charter, the institution's name is "The City University".

It is only in the United States that every word in a university's name matters. There is no difference between University of Cambridge and Cambridge University or University of Oxford and Oxford University. However, in the United States, there is a difference between Miami University and University of Miami. Also, there is a difference between The State University of New York and the The University of the State of New York.

The only two outfits in london with similar names are The American University in London and American University of London. These two schools are not accredited.

    1. American University in Lindon

    2. American University of London
