After some comparison and calculation, it seems that Eastern New Mexico University's 30-credit Master's Degrees, including their MBA, are the least expensive RA Master's to be found for out of state students. If I am incorrect, please let me know!

Tuition and Fees: $180.50 per credit hour

    $180.50 x 30 = $5415.00

Any more info out there about this program since that old, dusty thread from 2005? Experiences?

EDIT: Grrr... the server automatically dropped my capitalization in the title.

Holy cow! That's not that much more than Aspen, and it's RA. Good find, MC!

Thank threedogs, for showing me that the school even exists. I was shocked to see that their MBA tuition isn't jacked up like other schools, and that it was only 30 credits as opposed to 36 or more. This is the only MBA I have found that is even less expensive than Amberton University and the only Master's degree I have found that is even less expensive than Western New Mexico University (again, because of the 30 vs 36 credits).

Unless there is something we don't know about, it looks like a no-brainer to me.

Possible problems: Is it all DL? Do they jack up the price for non-residents?

    Yes and no, respectively.

They are also accredited by ACBSP, which, so I have read on this very forum, would put them a step above schools that weren't.

Dude, that's not a "good" find, is a "fantastic" find! Awesome Maniac.

Sincerely, with this one in the game, I REALLY don't see the point of doing any NA MBA, even Aspen.

According to the following web page, the out-of-state tuition is $411 per credit hour:

    ENMU Graduate School

If you are looking for an inexpensive RA MBA, another possible option is the New Mexico Highlands MBA, which is also accredited by ACBSP.

I should have done more research before posting! Apparently, everyone gets the in-state tuition rate of $180.50 per credit hour if they take six credit hours or fewer per semester.

So it might take a long time to complete, but a working person would have a difficult time coping with any more than 6 credits a semester anyway. If all of this good news is true, I predict a flood of applicants from DI in the near future. It might steal some of Aspen's popularity.

Verify that this info is all correct and complete, MC, and then go for it!

Agreed, there is no point in an Aspen MBA if this is all accurate info.

This degree was first mentioned on DegreeInfo five years ago, when it was brand new, according to the thread itself. I wonder why scarcely anyone has mentioned it since? Especially with all of the "least expensive" threads out there?

If this is offered online, I can't find where the site mentions it. Tuition is the same as at ENMU, $130/credit (the 180.5 I mention above includes all fees).

It sounds like this program is the cheapest MBA program around. Even if one ends up taking some pre-reqs, it would still end up the cheapest, especially, since they allow the option of 30 credits versus 36. I need to start looking at an MBA again...

Is there a consensus that this is the cheapest RA MBA?

I don't know if there is consensus or not, but in the ten years I've been involved with DL, it's by far the cheapest RA MBA that is available nationwide. Even though you can only take 6 credits at a time if you're out of state, since it's only 30 credits, one could still finish it in two years, assuming that courses are available over the summer. It's a spectacular deal.

It's about $3000 less expensive than the one I thought was the cheapest just a few days ago :eek:mfg:.

I think it really is the cheapest RA MBA. Until another program is located, it's fair to say yes.
