Swiss Management Center -- No response?

I am interested in SMC's degrees in economics and political economy but after a number of attempts to contact them, I've given up.

Never a good sign about the future responsiveness of a university if they won't answer your inquiries as a prospective student.

 

Could it be that they close during the month of August?
I knew someone attending a university in Paris which closed down during August.

 

Spam filter -- no. Closed in August -- unsure.

Maybe I'm missing something but I've used both the contact form and direct e-mail. Next step is to call them but if that's necessary I am a little worried.

 

Nothing gets done anywhere near the French borders during August. (vacations) I'd contact them mid-september if you don't hear back from them by then.

 

I would agree with Steve that your emails are not getting through. I have just been admitted to their Doctor of Business Administration program, and got replies to my emails within 24 hours throughout the admission process. I have also called up their office a couple of times (as recent as yesterday) and the phone was picked up every time and my query addressed quickly and efficiently.They are definitely not closed down in August, as I have corresponded with them throughout the month.

 

I was having the same problems. It was an issue with my company's server. They were blocking SMC's response. They actually called me because I included a phone number in the email. They told me they had been trying to respond to me.

Do you have another email address you can use? I would call them direct. After we got the email address issue cleared up, they responsed to all of my questions very quickly.

 

I've been talking to Barry at [email protected] this week and he responds very quickly to any and all of my emails, less than 12 hour turn-around.

SMC has been surprisingly fast at correspondence over the past 4 months. GL
