Does it sound like you will need a very strong programming background in computer science or could anyone do it? I was interested in that program at first but then started to doubt about being able to understand it all School of Technology - Master of Science in Technology & Innovation Any IT people could comment on it, please? Thanks
Admission requirements. The Program Admissions Requirements are: • Completed online application to the MSTI program • $75 application fee • Official transcripts showing completion of a Bachelor’s Degree program from an accredited/approved institution. International students must submit a foreign degree evaluation. • A current resume • A goals statement of 250+ words indicating the professional goals of the applicant and how a Masters in Technology & Innovation will help fulfill those goals • Three reference letters from persons who can attest to the personal and professional qualifications of the applicant Give me a break!! I expect to have to stand on my head and whistle Dixie backwards for Harvard, but for a DETC school?! Even RA AMU/APUS doesn’t require this. Best wishes----Jim
I am not sure what you mean by your statement thorvald. Are you saying anyone could finish that program?
I agree with Daniel on the name. To answer your question, I don't think it looks like you would need a really strong technical background going into it (particularly depending on your concentration and electives), but if you have no IT background it could be challenging depending on your aptitude for it. I would also look into something like Dakota State, which I think it similarly priced and RA/not for profit.
I looked into it and the cost does not come near the $3600 that AU is charging (until Sept. 1st, that is)
It appears so but the MSTI degree they offer does not look like it has the approval of IT ppl on this board - I am not sure what/if I would be learning with that degree..... I wanted to lear computer science but it sounds like bluff instead :-(
