From Rosaura Israel comes the sad news that Mark died last May. He was a prolific and always interesting participant in the early years of this forum until his horrific bicycle accident in 2OO4. Rosie was his active caregiver for many years, but he just didn't make it.

    Damn,

I was just thinking about Mark and his posts earlier today. I never got to meet the man, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading what he wrote.

    Rest In Peace, Mark.

This is a very sad thing. As John indicated, Mark was a good friend to degreeinfo, a prolific contributor and by any measure a good man.

I just saw this news... and I am very saddened. Mark was certainly a very key member of this forum during my active years here. My thoughts are with his family.

In retrospect, I don't even remember whether I agreed with Mark or disagreed. In the end, maybe it doesn't matter...

Very sorry to hear this. Mark's posts were among many I found inspirational when I was a DL newbie lurking on these forums. The circumstances behind his accident were tragic, but from the infrequent updates on his condition that made it here, I thought he was on the road to recovery. He will be sorely missed. I'm sure all of our thoughts are with Rosie tonight, wishing her the best at this difficult time.
