I just noticed that the DETC updated their list of applicants on their website...and Nations is not on it. They are, though, listed under first time applicants on the accreditation commission report from June.

Whats the Dilly-o? Did Nations withdraw their application?

Currently, the list in their report is different from the list on their new applicants page ...

    From the report:
Clalyton College of Natural Health, Birminglam, AL
    Nations University, West Monroe, LA
Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary, Newburgh, IN

    From the new applicants page:
American Center for Excellence in Surgical Assisting, Greenwood Village, CO
American Fitness Professionals and Associates, Manahawkin, NJ
Clayton College of Natural Health, Birmingham, AL
Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary, Newburgh, IN

So either the list has changed since they released their report, or someone messed up ...

It is still too early to say, but hopefully NationsU gets their DETC. Read through their web site. I must say that they are impressive. Have signed up as a volunteer too. Hope that the next time it appears on the DETC reports are when it is accreditated!

It would all really depend on when their site visit it...

My own opinion is that if you have to ask such a question then you've already got the answer.

If they’re not on it, it’s not a mistake.

Did anyone read my post above? It certainly looks to me that either a) A mistake was made in the report, or b) A mistake was made on their new applicants page.

    The only other possibility is
    c) Between the time that the report was released and the new applicants page was updated, American Center for Excellence in Surgical Assisting AND American Fitness Professionals and Associate were re-added to the new applicants list after being removed for the report, while Nations was removed.

The only way to know for sure is to ask Nations and/or DETC I suppose.

There was no mention of it at all one way or the other in the NU newsletter that just came out a couple of days ago.

There is another page on DETC which states as below. Seems like their pages aren't in sync with each other where updates are concerned.

About the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council
