    Hi All

I have applied to the Northeastern Ed.D program, still waiting to hear on this, however as a back-up plan I have also applied to the Grand Canyon University Ed.D Program.

Would like to get some feedback on Grand Canyon University. I have heard really good things and some less than positive reviews too.

    Thanks

One is a b&m with sports teams etc. One is just online. I would go with GC based off of that, but they may have the worst online programs in the world. I have no idea. I am sure someone here has more info.

I think so, no offense to Penn Foster but I have to do real work now. It has been a big shock to me in the amount of work I have to do. I am also going to load myself down next semester so I will be done in the fall. While that is going on I plan on taking three clep test as well. It's time to get ready for that BS degree from TESC or LU.

    hi

both are b and m and that is critical to me. However one is for profit the other (northeastern) is private non-profit. Curriculum looks good at both.....

I was accepted at both and am going with Northeastern. GCU's program is really interesting to me (and a lot closer for residencies), but because their ownership change is relatively new, I am curious to see what their reputation is like in the near future. But I think it is a good backup plan. (Not just because it is exactly what I did!! I think GCU is a strong second choice.) Have fun fielding the GC phone calls while you wait for Northeastern. It was never pushy, but it was persistent. ;) And you need to be the squeaky wheel with NU's admissions. (And check the apply yourself site a lot, scrolling all the way down to the bottom. It noted that I'd been accepted a few days before I had an email telling me to check it.) Best of luck! are you looking at K-12 or higher ed?
