Which RA or NA accredited schools offer the most generous "challenge" credits for pilot, flight engineer, FAA licenses, as well as aviation degree programs available through distant learning?
I'm pretty sure these schools offer aviation credit for completed FAA certifications. BTW, once you've completed an FAA cert, you shouldn't need to "challenge" anything. Typically, the school will award college credit for already completing them. As well they should. FAA certs are hard as nuts to obtain. Liberty University Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Excelsior College Thomas Edison State College I'm sure there are others out there.
Thomas Edison is a good option. Not only did I receive credit for my private pilot license, but I also got PE credit for my PADI openwater scuba certification.
These look like some good options. My friend is a commuter airline captain and apparently he needs a college degree to move up into the "majors". I also found Utah Valley University Aviation Science that I will suggest to him. Thanks for the leads.
Embry Riddle Aeronautical University offers programs online, and among the airline industry, the degree from this university seems to hold a lot of weight.
