Medical Insurance Billing and Coding

    Is there any good online Medical Insurance Billing and Coding programs? Maybe even with option of getting a BS or BA degree? My wife just obtained her AA in Liberal Arts.

    We were looking at schools like Heald, Western Career, and MTI, but it seems that the price those schools charge, it might be cheaper to get a 4-year degree in route to learning Medical Insurance Billing and Coding.

    Dakota State University does offer a minor in Health care coding. I'm sure you can make something out of DSU's line-up of programs. Good luck!

    If you are looking for degree programs I would recomend looking for programs with this accreditation;
    Welcome to CAHIIM

    They include billing and coding and have greater job prospects both as HIT and HIA levels education. Some are available by distance learning as well.
